Press Conf. When the person answers, press Join or OK to add the person to the existing call. Press Add and repeat these steps to add another person to the conference call. Press Drop at any time to drop the last person added to the conference call. Press Conf , or Add if you are already in a conference.

Select the call on hold that you want to add to the conference. Press Resume to take the call off hold. Press Join or Conf to add the person to the conference call. When you put a conference call on hold, the other parties can still talk to each other. Press Hold during a conference call. Press Resume or OK to resume the conference call. Press Drop. You can save up to names and up to 6 telephone numbers per name. When you press the Contacts button, you are automatically put into Contacts search mode.

You can jump to a certain group of letters in your Contacts list by pressing the associated dial pad button. For example, if you press 3, the Contacts list might display entries starting with D, E, F, or 3 depending on how you set up your contacts. Press Contacts. Using the dialpad, start typing the name for which you want to search. Keep in mind how your Contact list is set up. If you have set up your Contacts using a different scheme, type the most likely letter s that would match the contact you want to find.

Press Call to call the person or More then Edit to edit contact information. You can add up to six numbers for a contact. Selecting "handle" as a type allows you to track the contact's telephone presence, for example, not logged in, logged in, in use, or sending all calls to another number. Press New. Enter the first and last name using the dialpad. Press the number key that corresponds to the letter or number you want to enter. Pause before entering the next character if the characters are on the same key.

To enter a space, press 0. Enter remaining letters or numbers. Press Bksp to delete the last character. Enter the telephone number and press Primary if applicable. The primary number is the one that will always display without having to go into contact details. Select the type of number entered work, mobile, home, handle. If you select handle, provide a value that represents the extension number, an "at" symbol, and the company name, for example, avaya.

If you have another number for this contact, scroll down and repeat Steps 5 - 7. You can add up to five additional numbers for this contact, but you can designate only one number as primary.

Press Save or OK. Search for and select the contact you want to edit. Choose the field you want to edit. Use the dialpad and softkeys to make changes to the contact information.

This button is useful when you have navigated into deep levels of menus and need to start over or get reoriented. If you call someone frequently, you should consider setting up a speed dial for them.

Speed dial instructions are below. The button will illuminate when you have a missed call, and when you view the missed call by pressing the History button, the illumination will turn off. If you press the Phone button and then press the up and down arrows of the navigation wheel, you will scroll through your three pages of call appearances. A headset is not included with your phone.

Headsets are useful when you need to talk with someone while keeping your hands free to do other tasks. Many Jabra headsets will automatically activate and be ready for making a call as soon as they are undocked from their base.

The Navigation wheel is used to navigate menus and select items from menus. After pressing the Phone button, then pressing the up and down arrows will scroll through your three pages of call appearances. Contacts Button, the farthest left rectangular button below the navigation wheel. Create up to contact entries to associate off-campus numbers with names. Home Button, the center rectangular button below the navigation wheel Used to set the options on your phone, such as the ring tone, call timer, whether phone history is logged, and more.

History Button, the farthest left rectangular button below the navigation wheel allows you to see missed, answered, and dialed calls; these different call types can be sorted in your history by using the left and right arrows of the Navigation Wheel.

Headset Button, located towards the bottom of your phone, it is the upper square button between the handset and the dial pad. Activate your headset as the calling device. Headsets are useful when you need to talk with someone while simultaneously keeping your hands free to do other tasks, such as type on a computer.

Speaker Button, located towards the bottom of your phone, it is the lower square button between the handset and the dial pad.
