But the WMC still did. It cannot be found through add devices or any other means. And it's not listed in the device manager. My problem is how to make Vista Guest in virtual box recognize the Tuner Card.

I am not sure whether and how I would like to go back to Windows 7. Since I installed Windows 10 more than once, the option of rolling back to win 7 is gone. My Windows 7 was a Dell upgrade from Vista bit full version. If you have any suggestions on this, I would welcome. I have the same problem.
Obviously there is something out there that works, since I had it working great for several months on RC. Monday, December 28, PM. I found the solution! Over on the ATI forums, someone suggested it, I tried it, and it worked! After installing the Vista version of the driver, simply go to to the Device Manager, and open the driver properties for the "Multimedia Controller". Click "Update Driver" and choose to manually browse for the driver. I was very worried the 7 drivers for my were too untested and had killed the memory on my card, so I switched back to Vista right away, since I knew it'd bug the heck out of me anyway.
The problem doesn't exist in Vista. I'll just wait for the final version though. EDIT: I suppose my question part of this would be if anybody has these specific issues and knows of a solution.

However I have tried to use it on a 32bit and a 64bit Windows 7 system and the driver has compatibility issues.
So it is not recognized by Windows Media Center. I have installed the Catalyst program and tried to use the old Vista drivers without success. Share Flag. All Answers. Collapse -. Have you tried just plugging it in without a Driver?
