I purchased this gear in late Sept for a trip and for solo camping it is a no-brainer. Set up in the dark with just a headlamp takes maybe 5 mins ok I did set up at home once first. The temp was 45 degs F and I kept the side open. I also used the cot and pad in my ARB awning and deluxe room on the same trip when I had time to set things up. It was great to have options.

So to clear I have slept in dirt holes in the ground retired USN SeaBee , car camped, hammocks, truck campers, and a Class A motorhome each of theses had Pros and Cons but if you are looking for a good night sleep after a long day and you want to be off the ground.
