I have a somewhat similar problem I'm using a wireless router and wirless card, if that helps! I have the exact same problem as a a except I'm using a d-link dwl-g usb device. It came with AirPlus which an application built by d-link that allows you to establish a connection. But when I try to browse the internet it says "error server could not be found" which is the same message that appears when you do not have an internet connection. Anyone know how to fix it? Yep, i have the same problem with the linksys wireless G adaptor and to bad the original monitor would connect automatically.
